Marja Entrich arrived as an 11-year-old from Latvia to Sweden in connection with the Russian Revolution. Her father owned an apron factory in a town close to Riga. When the revolution broke out he was in Stockholm on a business trip and the family was not reunited until five years later. Marja Entrich is an internationally prized skin therapist. She was trained to become a skin therapist in the Clytia institute in Paris in 1925. After that Marja Entrich has worked in Germany and France and as a clinical department supervisor at a clinic in Tel Aviv for eight years with Helena Rubenstein´s products. |

In 1939 Marja Entrich returned to Sweden
and in 1943 she opened the Marja Entrich Clinic on Skeppargatan
11 in Stockholm, where it remains to this day and is owned by Marja
Entrich AB - Gun and Timo Tammerlöv. In the clinic Marja Entrich developed the skin care products according to the customers needs. She had begun to collect the biological recipes when she was abroad and which were then developed in co-operation with chemists. Marja Entrich believes that what you use on your skin you should be able to eat. |

Marja Entrich made great progress in the treatment of different skin defects. She helped many with a combination of the right skin care and a proper diet. Marja Entrich also worked with the Karolinska Hospital in Stockholm which referred many of its difficult patients to the Marja Entrich clinic. Marja Entrich led the way in Sweden in many areas, such as the declaration of contents, water soluble cleansers and pH balanced products. The products in Marja Entrich Green Line Collection only contain biological raw materials. All raw materials are grown biodynamically and are selected with the greatest care. They are biodegradable. No tests on animal are carried out. If you have felt the difference between a nylon garment and a pure cotton garment you know the difference between synthetics and natural materials. Many companies have
been quick to jump on the "Green" bandwagon and have claimed
all sorts of miracle cures and remedies. Marja Entrich Green Line
have been "Green" for over fifty years.
Marja Entrich, who developed the range in 1943, firmly believed that the route to cosmetic perfection lay in the principles of Mother Nature and the reverence of harmony and balance. With the backcloth of the Swedish healthy approach to life, and respect for the environment, she developed a range of products based on natural sources which were pure, refreshing, effective, yet simple and pleasant to use. Marja Entrich was in fact something of a phenomenon - her ideas were well before her time. Doctors soon heard of her success with her clients, and how she was able to help them with her "own formula" creams and lotions. Marja Entrich claimed that the skin was able to accept natural ingredients far more easily than those which were chemically produced. The demand for her products flourished, and Marja Entrich soon founded the "Small Laboratory with the Big Ideas". Recognition of her pioneering work led to her twice receiving the CIDESCO Gold Medal for outstanding contribution to the Cosmetology and Skin Care Industry. This incredible lady who just recently passed away in her nineties, her own skin was a remarkable testimony to her own product range. A great deal has happened since 1943, and today, a dedicated team of Naturopaths, Skin Therapists and Chemists continue to improve, and develop the product range, while keeping within the constraints of Marja Entrich philosophy. Technology has enabled many changes, but the basic ingredients of the products are the same. Marja Entrich Green Line is now world wide success story, and is a result of the combined determination.
